Our games portfolio needs a pretty big suitcase to fit into. We’ve made over 100 games for pretty much all platforms. We currently work on both innovative mobile and console titles which guarantees lots of variety in our projects. UI Artist

We are now looking for a

 UI Artist to join our kick-ass mobile team

As a UI Artist, your responsibility is to bring the UI of our latest mobile game to the next level and make sure South Park: Phone Destroyer™ continues to be a great success on the market! You will play a key role in ensuring that our graphic design and layouts are engaging and breathtaking! Your objective is to design and implement the UI in cooperation with the rest of the game development team. You will establish and maintain the UI pipeline as well as deliver frequent content updates.

You enjoy taking initiative and finding creative solutions to complex problems. In this role, you will get to use your diverse range of skills and have the possibility to learn new software and methods of working. You will join a game with active live service and player base, where your tasks are mission-critical, so you really get to hit the ground running. We appreciate if you have previous experience of working with hands-on IP holders and you are open to receiving approvals from external sources.

You will be working within a multidisciplinary team, where active communication and collaboration are highly appreciated and people are ambitious to achieve the best player experience possible. Responsibilities

  • Design game features which are engaging, user-friendly and functional together with the rest of the game development team
  • Establish and maintain UI pipeline
  • Concept mock-ups of the game UI for live ops events according to an established art style
  • Iterate the design and graphics as needed
  • Create final 2D assets and work together with programmers to ensure that UI is implemented into the game as designed

Our dream candidate 

  • Is UI driven as an artist, with a passion to create the best user interface experience
  • Has at least 2 years’ experience in UI/menu design
  • Has game development experience and has an understanding of what is required from game user interfaces/menus.
  • Has some experience in using Unity
  • Has some experience in using Perforce or other similar tools (such as GitHub)
  • Is proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator (other creative Adobe software is a plus)
  • Is a good communicator and a team player and has a proactive attitude and strong self-organizational skills
  • Works in a flexible way, accepting feedback and iteration ideas smoothly and comes up with new solutions

Animator

We are now looking for an

Animator for our new unannounced mobile project

Following the success of South Park: Phone Destroyer and Trials Frontier, our studio is kicking off the next mobile project with our new IP. As our Animator, you will bring our worlds and characters to life with high-quality motion. You produce aesthetic and smooth animations and contribute to the creation of believable and emotional moments that will immerse the player in the game.

We are looking for someone who has a strong ambition to produce high-quality work and constantly aspires to stay on top of their expertise. You have a set of great collaboration skills and you are skilled in receiving and giving feedback.

Core Responsibilities

  • Create high quality and believable keyframe animation
  • Animate characters, cameras or objects for gameplay and cutscenes
  • Make sure animations are in line with the artistic direction of the project and delivered in respect of deadlines
  • Integrate animations to the game while ensuring technical constraints are met
  • Work alongside the other team members to understand both the Design and the Engine limitations and deliver the best functional animations possible

Lead Game Designer

We are now looking for a

Lead Game Designer for an unannounced project

We have just kicked off the development of a new game based on our own new IP. As our Lead Game Designer in this project, you will manage game design aligned with the creative vision. You will drive the design of high-quality game systems and mechanics that enable truly epic player experience. You will also be responsible for leading and mentoring a skilled team of game designers. You will work closely with the Creative Director, production and other leads driving the project forward.  You are the main contact person communicating the game vision to all stakeholders and overseeing the creation of game features.

We are looking for an experienced Lead Game Designer who is highly driven towards results and achievements and takes strong ownership. You are agile when faced with surprises and iteration and you proactively engage and include others in your day-to-day work to find better solutions.

We will give you the opportunity to join a recently founded team of game developers and you will get to work alongside skilled industry veterans. Technical Artist

We are now looking for a

Technical Artist

We have just kicked off a new project with a brand-new IP. As our Technical Artist in this project, you will develop, adapt and implement the artistic tools and methods used in the game development. You will play a key role in carrying out the artistic vision of the game within certain technical constraints. You will collaborate with the whole game development team to understand, define and implement technical solutions that will optimize the memory, performance, and quality of the game.

We are looking for someone who finds solutions in inventive ways making the best use of the resources they have (think MacGyver!). You actively seek opportunities to improve the game performance and you are continually enhancing your current skills. You will have multiple stakeholders to work with, so the ability to collaborate, build, and maintain relationships is needed to succeed in this role.

You will join a recently founded team of senior and skilled game developers working on a new project in the world's third-biggest game publisher. We have big ambitions to introduce something groundbreaking in games. Your home base will be a team of experienced and versatile technical artists. You will get to enjoy the network and resources of Ubisoft, but at the same time work in an agile studio where we take our work seriously, but not ourselves.

Core Responsibilities

  • Providing and maintaining art production tools (e.g. procedural tools, shaders)
  • Mentoring artists in chosen methods, optimizations and tools
  • Developing technical solutions to solve performance issues while executing artistic and game vision
  • Designing and driving improvements in production tools and pipelines

Our dream candidate

  • Has at least 3+ years of game industry experience as a Technical Artist
  • Has an adequate understanding of linear algebra as a component of computer graphics
  • Has experience in procedural content production
  • Has fluency in Houdini, + VEX and HOM (Python)
  • Has a general understanding of 3D graphics and rendering and their recent technology developments
  • Is constantly curious and proactive in finding new solutions and learning more
  • Knows how to make decisions balancing between the creative point of views and technical constraints
  • Has excellent collaboration skills and fosters teamwork and diversity
